Margaret's Design Inspiration: My fascination with chandeliers began on a trip to Europe in my twenties. An eight-foot or so diameter chandelier in the foyer of an Austrian 'palace' mystified me as it was an assortment of round crystals that seemed to balance in the air. The design, craftsmanship and attention to detail of that chandelier astounded me. Thereafter, I've kept a keen eye out for various shapes, sizes, materials and looks of chandeliers and honour them in several of my earring designs.
